2007: Zero-emissions expert for Louis Berger Group on team screening proposals in architectural competition for headquarters building of Masdar Initiative, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
2008-2019: Hiatus in consulting work in favor of civic involvement as a volunteer with the La Plata County (CO) Climate and Energy Action Plan (2008-2011, Science and Technical Advisory Working Group Chair and Steering Committee Member), the La Plata County Comprehensive Plan Citizens Working Group (2009-2010), and service on the Durango, CO, City Council, including two years as Mayor (2011-2019).
2019: Relaunched Enduring Green Globe. Contracting with Association of Climate Change Officers to develop study guides for Climate Change Professional certification courses.
